Prior to joining the well-established K-pop group Astro in 2016, Moonbin worked as an actor and model. Additionally, he was part of a sub-group called Moonbin & Sanha and actively performed with them.

In order for Moonbin’s family to grieve in peace, the statement from Fantagio requested that any speculative or malicious reports be avoided.

Moonbin started his journey with Fantagio as a child when he joined their trainee program, before eventually debuting with the K-pop group Astro. Originally consisting of six performers, the group underwent a change in February 2023 when one of the members departed.

Moonbin’s sister, Moon Sua, is also a K-pop singer who performs as a member of the girl group Billlie.
