The episode titled “Chapter 22: Guns for Hire,” which was written by Jon Favreau and directed by Bryce Dallas Howard, showcased Lizzo as The Duchess and Jack Black as Captain Bombardier, the leaders of the remote planet Plazir-15.
The unexpected cameo caused a stir among fans of the show, with many taking to social media to express their excitement and surprise at seeing the two popular musicians in the Star Wars universe. The Duchess and Captain Bombardier are just the latest in a long line of memorable characters that have been introduced on the show, which has garnered critical acclaim and a devoted fan following since its debut in 2019.

The three notable guest stars appeared in a scene together where they argued over the political implications of droids, much to the delight of fans. However, it was Lizzo’s knighting of Grogu that particularly captured the attention of viewers and caused a surge of positive reactions on Twitter.
